R.A.I.N. transportation provides options for older adults and facilitates their ability to live more independently. With the availability of transportation, older adults are to participate in life-enhancing activities, and take care of their day-to-day errands, attend necessary medical appointments and generally increase their level of self-sufficiency.
Services are available within Bronx Community Districts 9, 10 and 11. Several R.A.I.N. older adult centers also provide neighborhood-based transportation services.
